ABOUT US
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"We gather ourselves under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to form Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, a Church that recognizes at its sole head, Jesus Christ, The Son of God and the Savior of all people. We gather ourselves to fulfill a vision for worship of the Triune God, for education in the word and words of God for our daily living, and for fellowship among other Christians, and mission to the needs of our community and the world."
(This statement of mission was written and signed in 1993 officially uniting Trinity Reformed UCC of Mountville and Trinity Reformed UCC of Columbia.)

A COVENANT OF OPENNESS AND AFFIRMATION
"In order to make this a safe place for all, we will strive to love each person as Christ loves us. As a step toward living that love, we will not tolerate statements and/or actions which are demeaning toward any of Gods children. Such statements and/or actions include those, which are sexist, racist, heterosexist, and demeaning in regard to persons age or abilities. We are called to admonish in love any persons who make such statements or exhibit such behavior in our presence. We seek to declare ourselves open and affirming of women and men of all ages, races, abilities, and sexual orientation who desire to share in the services, leadership and activities of this congregation." Adopted April, 1998 - Open and Affirming (ONA) Status granted by the United Church of Christ in 2005
WE ARE A TEACHING CHURCH
Because Trinity has been designated a "teaching church" by the Lancaster Association of the United Church of Christ, we have seminary interns and in-care students who participate in the life of the church and are using their experience with Trinity to learn. Interns generally serve the church for one year from September to May.
